Description

A water-based primer manufactured from high-quality insulating chemicals specifically formulated for use in foundation and base-coating applications. It provides excellent resistance to the alkalinity of cement-based surfaces, whether walls or floors.

Features

• Al-Ghazala Primer is suitable for both interior and exterior applications.
• Can be applied to concrete and cement-based surfaces beneath putty layers, including silicate or Shield coatings, and can also be applied over them as a primer/base coat.
• Recommended as a primer before applying exterior emulsion paints, providing enhanced penetration, coverage, and adhesion to the substrate.

Application Instructions

• Ensure that the surface is clean and free from grease, dust, and other contaminants before application.
• For previously painted surfaces, wash and dry the surface thoroughly and ensure that the existing coating is firmly bonded before applying the new coating.
• Stir the product thoroughly before use.
• It is recommended to apply Al-Ghazala Primer after dilution of up to 10%, using a wide cotton roller to ensure proper penetration into the substrate.

Coverage

7–9 m²/kg, depending on the nature of the surface and the recommended dry film thickness of 28–42 microns.
